Cheveaux Park offer the following services to the public....
Foaling down.....
Includes ALL breeds...
Mares cared for 24/7 with an expected 2 week settle in period prior to foaling..and 1 week after birth...
YOU can transport your baby home anytime but the week after birth CP will handle and have your baby used to people..any further handling/care required is upto owner.
Mare will be stabled at night and wear a foaling transmitter..out in paddock during the day..
Night accommodation is a stall 6m x 3.5m open hay shed partitioned with night lights.
A large bale in each stall plus morning/evening feds included in price.
Prices are $90 prior to foaling/$50 foaling night/$100 pw there after includeds daily handling of your foal and same advantages as pre foaling.

obviously break the mare bond...
what you want and expect depends on how long you wish to leave the youngster in our care..can take a week or more just to settle the youngster to get him/her to accept the change.
We dont rush we work on trust and positive reward.
Our costs include full board $100 pw.
Show training..
for the youngster..

Make sure all the basics of handling can be done with the youngster..
teach baby to stay out of your space..
lead with some length..
trot out...
voice commands..
give neck appropriate to the breed..
any other requirements can be discussed.
Time depends on what youngsters past training has been.
$110 pw includes full board.

24hr watch in under cover yards.

then try us..we are experienced in many ways to help YOU and your horse.

We are not experts..nor are we vets or nurses but we do have many many years of experience and have round pipped yards/crush to work in.
At our/your disposal we have 2 local vets as well as at least 1 dozen close by in surrounding townships all specialising in Equine vet care.
